Designed and engineered in Italy with durable 18/10 stainless-steel construction and a mirror-finish, this 20- to 50-cup capacity coffee urn serves a crowd with style and includes many convenient features. Its glass-top, easy-open cover allows for watching the coffee brew, yet for childproof operation and to prevent spills the cover also features a special safety lock to keep the lid on tight. A coffee-level indicator shows how much water is in the unit--to prevent running out of coffee unexpectedly--while its unique stainless-steel basket and pump pipe provide a clean coffee taste. "On" and "ready" lights indicate when the coffee is ready to serve, and the adjustable thermostat allows for adjusting the heat between 130 to 210 degrees for the exact temperature preferred. Once the brewing is finished, the coffee urn automatically switches to the warming cycle and keeps coffee at a constant serving temperature. This "keep warm" function activates the urn's unique Freshness Indicator, which shows how long the coffee has been standing. Six freshness-indicator lights illuminate and turn off one at a time in one-hour increments, and after six hours, when all six lights have gone out, the unit will automatically shut itself off. The coffee urn features a no-drip spigot for easy serving and heat-resistant cool-touch handles for moving the urn without burning fingers.
